Facilitated Story Development Session

A half-day “Writer’s Room” collaborative experience using a listening-focused methodology to develop a shared understanding of how to tell a specific story.

My role is to hold participants to a high standard of listening, maintain the integrity of the narrative framework, and help the group discover and develop a coherent narrative.

  • The initial session is a half-day with 3–5 participants.
  • Follow-on sessions are 2 hrs with the same participants.

Storytelling Training Program

This 6-week program uses a listening-focused methodology to improve foundational storytelling skills: listening, story development, stakeholder analysis, pitching, and preparing for Q & A.

While training is often anchored to work scenarios from the participants’ day-to-day, the primary purpose of training is to teach foundational communication mechanics, not to develop a specific narrative or pursue a real-world outcome.

  • Kickoff session is a half-day with 3–5 participants.
  • Then, five 2-hr follow-on sessions with the same participants.

Narrative Intervention

This one-week consulting engagement (Monday through Friday) is for situations where a crucial story is unclear, stuck, or contested, such as: post-merger identity crisis, internal stakeholder friction, new product flop, or existential competitive threat.

My role is to provide an expert, independent perspective, clarify the narrative architecture, and make recommendations to help you move forward. My purpose is to determine direction, not drive alignment.
